My name is Tudor Hulubei. Welcome to my website. In addition to providing some personal information, this site is a repository of things that I've worked on over time. Being passionate about computers since longer than I can remember, I have developed a few things that some people may find useful. They include a Unix compatible kernel, a C interpretor, a constraint satisfaction programming library and an extensible file system browser, among other things.
Sometime in 1998 I picked up an interest in photography that grew into one of my favorite hobbies. The photography section contains a few hundred photographs that reflect my attempts at improving myself in this area, as well as my struggle to get past the geeky obsession with the technical aspects and concentrate more on the artistic side of things. While I hope that someday I'll be able to look at pictures taken in the past and notice improvements that are not simply due to better gear, that day remains elusive.
Every program or tool that you'll find here is free software, covered by either the GNU General Public License or the GNU Library General Public License. The photographs are covered by a different copyright, although in the same spirit. Feel free to redistribute and share. Of course, I would appreciate any negative feedback.
Uploaded the Burning Man 2010 photographs as a Flickr slideshow. Enjoy!

In July 2010 my friend Andrei Floroiu got me involved with Fly for MS, a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise global awareness about Multiple Sclerosis. This is an amazing project in which 3 people will embark on a trans-Atlantic, trans-European aerial journey that will take them to 30 countries where they will fly MS sufferers to treatment centers and/or take them on sightseeing flights. Our hope is that by bringing attention to this issue, we will make an impact on the lives of those living with this debilitating disease.
On August 10th, we had our first fundraiser at Provocateur in New York City. Many thanks to all of you who participated! For those of you who didn't get a chance to attend but would like to help this project succeed, please support us with a small donation.
On October 5th, we had a second fundraiser at Provocateur. In debt to all of you who participated!
Thank you!
